The latest Mobile Data Terminal for our Taxi Dispatch Solutions, the Vector 800™ offers standard features like 12 channel GPS, magnetic card reader to enable fast credit card payment processing and an enhanced graphical user interface for simple navigation and ease of use.
For increased usability the Vector 800™ is expandable through both its serial ports and USB interface, which allows connecting a SmartPrint™ printer or other additional add-ons.
Store up to 512 MB's of data in the Vector800's internal memory. Increase the safety of drivers, with a built in emergency trigger, or the option to install an additional emergency button or door switch through the Vector 800™’s digital inputs.
Customers can seamlessly and transparently update the application software wirelessly by leveraging the optional over-the-air download feature available for both private mobile radio and public data networks.
This capability lowers ongoing maintenance costs because customers no longer have to bring in their vehicles for servicing each time a new version of software is released.
Flexibility in wireless modules ensures that the Vector 800™ has the option of supporting either private or public networks. For private radio networks, the Vector 800™ uses a high performance built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that provides data rates of up to 9600bps over private mobile radio. For cellular public data networks, the Vector 800™ interfaces with GSM/GPRS or CDMA modems.
